Wizardry 8 Resource File (.SLF) Viewer

Wizardry 8 Resource File (.SLF) Viewer, version 1.0 (Build 3326)
SLF files are some sort of file packing format used by Sir-Tech on a number of game titles, results in having one single large file instead of 100s of small files, (which is probably a less disk intensive way of regularly accessing lots of small files instead of having to rely on Windows to find and serve it up each time). This utility provides a way for viewing of text files (.TXT, .INI), image files (.TGA, .STI = Sir-Tech's Image file) and media files (.WAV, .MP3) embedded into these SLF files.

Unfortunately there is no readme text file attached with this file, and have found no other way of determining who wrote this utility, or if there are updates available. If you know the author, please ask them to contact me, as I'd very much like to credit them for their work (and ask like a zillion questions).

The interface is a bit crude, but considering what this program does, that can be overlooked. Basically you use the [Browse] button to locate and open Wizardry 8 files with the .SLF extension, the left side of the screen will list the embedded files, select a supported file and you can view / hear what's in it.

Note: This is a viewer only, the utility provides no way to alter or replace contents.
